Day at the Capitol - January 31, 2024

Description

Gather to be briefed on state and national legislative issues, meet with Senators and staff at the Capitol, then dine together at the Governor's Mansion. 

IIAN's lobbying partner, Nebraska Strategies, will provide an outlook on insurance-related issues in the state unicameral. In addition, Raaed Haddad, Big “I" director of federal government affairs, will join us virtually to present a legislative update on the national front.

Schedule:

  • Issues Briefing - 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
    • Held at the UNICO conference room, 1128 Lincoln Mall, Ste 200, Lincoln, NE
    • Limited covered parking available at UNICO. Overflow parking available at Farmer's Mutual-12th & K St.
  • Capitol visit with your Senator/Staff - 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.
    • Call your Senator to invite him/her, and make an appointment for your visit. Find your Senator here.
  • Luncheon at the Governor's Mansion - 12:00 noon
    • Lower Level
